The Liberian government through it's Minister of Youth and Sport has given a 3weeks ultimatum to the Liberian Football Association (LFA) to investigate and provide a full report on the devastating 6-1 loss of the Lone Star to the Super Eagles during the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Calabar.

He added that the coach Keatu Smitt's led team performance was a total embarrassment to the Country.
“I was confident that the National team was going to bring back something positive from the match, but with this scoreline it was something that, I never imagined, and even no Liberian expected it.
“You cannot be going up and fall like the way our team fell to the Nigeria, Super Eagles. We saw the three matches before, this particular encouter and we all conceded 6-goals which is hard to understand,
The minister stressed that the intent of the probe and report is not to bring the FA and coaching staff to public condemnation in future.

"A retreat is needed for the national teams the stakeholders have to come together and reflect on what has transpired in the past as it relates to the performance of the National term.
"The last time we conceded such number of goals was back in 2005, and we did not learn anything from our mistakes a in that encouter and I think we should do it this team" he conclude.
